বাঙালি জাতীয়তাবাদ বলতে বাঙালির নিজস্ব ভাষা, সংস্কৃতি, বুদ্ধিবৃত্তি ও বৈপ্লবিক ঐতিহ্য 'তথা নিজস্ব জাতিসত্তাকে বােঝায়। বাঙালি জাতীয়তাবাদ আমাদেরকে ঐক্যবদ্ধ করে এবং বাঙালি হিসেবে নিজেদের আত্মপরিচয়ে রাজনীতি, অর্থনীতি, শিক্ষা, সংস্কৃতি গড়ে তােলার গুরুত্ব উপলব্ধি করতে সাহায্য করে।
(গ)-এর উত্তর :
ছয় দফার ৬নং দফাটি, চিত্র 'ক' এ প্রদর্শিত তথ্যের আলােকে উত্থাপিত হয়েছিল। নিম্নে যুক্তিসহকারে তা ব্যাখ্যা করা হলাে:-
চিত্র 'ক' তে বিভিন্ন সরকারি পদে, বিভিন্ন প্রতিরক্ষা বাহিনীতে পশ্চিম ও পূর্ব পাকিস্তানিদের নিয়ােগের শতকরা হার দেখানাে হয়েছে। চিত্র হতে দেখা যায়, কেন্দ্রীয় সিভিল সার্ভিসে পশ্চিম ও পূর্ব পাকিস্তানি যথাক্রমে ৮৪% ও ১৬%; ফরেন সার্ভিসে পশ্চিম ও পূর্ব পাকিস্তানি যথাক্রমে ৮৫% ও ১৫%; স্থল বাহিনীতে পশ্চিম ও পূর্ব পাকিস্তানি যথাক্রমে ৯৫% ও ৫%; পাইলটদের মধ্যে পশ্চিম ও পূর্ব পাকিস্তানি যথাক্রমে ৮৯% ও ১১%; বিমান বাহিনীতে পশ্চিম ও পূর্ব পাকিস্তানি যথাক্রমে ৯৬% ও ৪%; অর্থাৎ প্রতিরক্ষা বাহিনীতে প্রায় সকল পদেই পূর্ব পাকিস্তানিরা ছিল চরম বৈষম্যের শিকার। এরই পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে পূর্ব পাকিস্তানিরা নিরাপত্তাহীনতায় ভুগতাে, যার দরুণ প্রয়ােজন দেখা দেয় নিজস্ব আধাসামরিক বাহিনীর।

চিত্র 'খ' এ প্রদর্শিত বৈষম্যের কারণ অর্থাৎ অর্থনৈতিক কারণ ছাড়াও, রাজনৈতিক, সামরিক কারণ ছয় দফায় তুলে ধরা হয় যা, প্রমাণ করে যে কেবল অর্থনৈতিক কারণ তথা খ' এ প্রদর্শিত বৈষম্যের কারণেই ছয় দফা দাবি উত্থাপিত হয় নি।
ছয় দফার মধ্যে অর্থনৈতিক বৈষম্য ছাড়াও যুক্তরাষ্ট্রীয় ব্যবস্থাধীনে সংসদীয় পদ্ধতির সরকার গঠন, প্রতিরক্ষা ও পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয় এবং আঞ্চলিক নিরাপত্তার জন্য আধাসামরিক বাহিনীর কথা তুলে ধরা হয়। ৬ দফা পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের জনগণের অর্থনৈতিক, রাজনৈতিক, সামরিকসহ সকল অধিকারের কথা তুলে ধরে। আইয়ুব সরকার একে 'বিচ্ছিন্নতাবাদী কর্মসূচি' হিসেবে আখ্যায়িত করে। এ কর্মসূচি বাঙালির জাতীয় চেতানা- মূলে বিশ্ফোরণ ঘটায়।

Bengali nationalism refers to the Bengalis' own language, culture, intellect and revolutionary heritage, that is, their own nationalism. Bengali nationalism unites us and helps us to realize the importance of oil in building our identity as Bengalis in politics, economy, education, culture.
Answer to (c) :
Clause 6 of the six clauses was raised in the light of the information shown in Figure 'A'. It is explained logically as follows: -
Figure 'A' shows the percentage of West and East Pakistanis being employed in various government posts and various defense forces. As can be seen from the figure, West and East Pakistanis constitute 84% and 18% of the Central Civil Service, respectively; West and East Pakistan in foreign service 65% and 15% respectively; West and East Pakistan 95% and 5% respectively in the ground forces; Among the pilots, West and East Pakistan were 69% and 11% respectively; West and East Pakistanis constitute 96% and 4% of the Air Force, respectively; In other words, East Pakistanis were the victims of extreme discrimination in almost all positions in the defense forces. In this context, the East Pakistanis are suffering from insecurity, which necessitates their own paramilitary forces.

In addition to the economic reasons for the inequality shown in Figure B, the political and military reasons are given in six points, which proves that the six-point claim was not raised only because of the economic reasons and the inequality shown in B.
In addition to economic inequality, the six points include the formation of a parliamentary system of government under the federal system, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and paramilitary forces for regional security. The 6 points highlight all the economic, political, military and other rights of the people of East Pakistan. The Ayub government called it a 'separatist program'. This program exploded the national consciousness of the Bengalis.
